Altarius Group was founded in 2006 with the establishment of our Swiss Affiliate, Altarius SA. Altarius SA focusses on providing corporate and investment solutions to asset managers, independent wealth managers, investment advisors and specialised service providers across Europe and the EEA. In 2008, Altarius Asset Management was launched and subsequently obtained a Category 2 Investment Services Licence from the Malta Financial Services Authority. The Group continued its expansion by setting up our German Affiliate, Altarius GmBH.

Our goal is to support clients in investing within a professional and efficient environment. Altarius’ European AIFM licence allows us to set up and monitor bespoke funds and managed accounts or to provide solutions for new technology investments in a rapidly evolving landscape. Our Management Company (ManCo) offers a one-stop solution, enabling clients to focus on their investments while we handle all legal, administrative, regulatory, and investment management matters.

Altarius’ main operations are based in our Maltese office, with additional activities in other European, including Luxembourg, and non-European jurisdictions. Recognised by the SEC as an Investment Adviser (exempt Reporting Advisor) Altarius has accumulated extensive experience over the years with European and American clients.
